MANILA (ROGATE CENTER) – Taking off from the popular Pepsi ad slogan, “Don’t Stop, Ask for More,” the Blessed Hannibal Rogate Center in Manila is ready for the celebration of the 41st World Day of Prayer for Vocations on May 2, 2004, the Fourth Sunday of Easter, with a local theme, “The Vocation of a Praying Church.” The event poster, along with the triduum guide, missallette and brochure containing the Pope’s message, was already sent out to dioceses, parishes, seminaries and religious institutions throughout the Philippines and some parts of Asia and the world where Rogationist communities are located. In his message for the occasion, the Holy Father, Pope John Paul II expressed his prayer for “the Holy Spirit to make the entire Church a praying people who raise their voices to the Heavenly Father to implore holy vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life.” |
